Telus upper management are such weasels.

Voices For Change, the union website is being censored from Telus customers.... those that haven't got fed up by the crappy service, and regular billing 'mistakes'. As one of the people that has to phone up the front line employees to complain on a regular basis about billing errors, I completely support the union. You want to cut your workforce by over 6,000 people in a few years, what the fuck do you expect. Labour peace?

Is Telus management really this stupid? Probably, given the evidence.

Laptop Update!

So, this is my first post from my new laptop. I was leasing, so they forced me to get insurance. It really irritated me until my dog knocked the old one off a table. Apparently there was no deductible. I got something out of an insurance company! Yay me.

I now have a spanking new 12" powerbook. That makes me happy.

Now I've got to catch up on the news that I've missed while I've been without a computer. Why do I have a nasty feeling that I've missed something.

See, this is one of the many problems with "intellectual property"

Stuff that is part of our everyday culture, like the murals on our walls, can't be reproduced, even to make a political statement. Or should I say especially when it's to make a political statement.

Bonus Canada Day Dog Blog

Jock was dressed up today. He doesn't as keen about being dressed up today as he was last week.

That might be because he was the winner for best costume at the Big Gay Dog Walk and that was way more fun.

Friday Cat Blogging

Decided that I'd get Lara to try and get a picture of Merlin's eyes with their real colours. He wasn't overly cooperative. Lara agreed to do it, mostly because Merlin was sitting in the middle of her desk, thus stopping her from getting any other work done.
